The Columbus Crew have reportedly acquired Hungary international Daniel Gazdag from the Philadelphia Union in a cash trade deal. The 29-year-old's deal will be part of MLS' trade mechanism that was implemented ahead of the 2025 season.

The Hungarian midfielder has been one of MLS' most consistent performers in recent years since joining the league in 2021, scoring at least 14 goals across the last three seasons. He has 29 caps with his national team.

Across 125 MLS appearances, he has scored 59 goals.

Columbus is one of two teams, alongside Lionel Messi's Inter Miami, to remain unbeaten through Matchday 7 of the MLS season.
