On Sunday afternoon, Como triumphed 2-1 against Serie A title-chasers Napoli to stop Conte's side from going top of the league standings over rivals Inter. Fabregas' side took a shock lead when Amir Rrahmani sent Matteo Politano's throw-in into his own net with Alex Meret off his line. Giacomo Raspadori soon brought Gli Azzurri level just ten minutes later, but Napoli were unable to take the game by the scruff of its neck and Diao scored the winner in the 77th minute to give Como all three points. Napoli are now one point behind Inter in the table.
